Rik Hinton, Idaho Elk
Rik shoots a 73# Howard Hill bow and Chundoo shafts tipped with 160 grain Ribtek heads.

Dear Kelly,
I am sending this e-mail to complain about one of your products. Yes, sadly, if only I had been shooting a three-blade broadhead instead of the inferior two-blade broadhead you sold me, I could still, at this moment, be out chasing elk in the elk woods. But, no, I had to use a 160 grain Ribtek, which flew through the bull so fast that it buried itself into the ground on the other side of the elk, causing me the extra effort of having to pull it out of the ground, not to mention killing the bull stone dead in less than ten seconds and causing me to have to return to work from vacation five days early. NOW I have to wait clear until next year to chase elk. It is all your fault and I demand a refund.
Your Humble Customer,

Ryan Evans, Utah Black Bear
Ryan shoots a 55# Horne Mountain Bow and Chundoo shafts tipped with Magnus Heads.

Kelly,
I shot this bear last weekend with a Horne take down Mountain Bow, 55#, lodgepole pine shaft I bought from you and a Magnus head. He's close to 500 lbs. I'm anxious to find out what he scores after the drying period.
Thanks for supplying such great supplies and service.

Roger Rothhaar, Iowa Whitetail
Roger shot this buck in October with a 58# Habu recurve, Blackhawk Vapor V-Maxx Carbonwood arrows with Snuffers heads (of course).

Nathan Steen, Idaho Moose.
Nathan is the bowyer of Sunset Hill longbows. A 66", 65# @ 27" Sunset Hill longbow named "Old Yeller" and Sitka Spruce shafts tipped with 160 grain Hunters Heads were used for his moose hunt.

Chip Brock, Kansas Whitetail
Chip shot this buck November 20 with a 59# Fox take-down recurve and chundoo arrows tipped with STOS broadheads.

Edwin Cooke, Deleware Black Bear
Ewin used a 61# Bruin TD Recurve and tapered carbon shaft tipped with a Snuffer.

Frank Scukanec, Wisconsin Squirls
Here is a pic of a days worth of bushytails.Great looking arrows.<><

Pat Allen, Wyoming Moose
Pat used a Shafer Silvertip recurve 64# @ 28", Lodgepole Pine shafts and Magnus II two blade broadhead.

"I called him in with cow moans sprinkled with some bull grunts. After about 15-20 minutes of no activity I was getting a bit "bored", but little did I know he was sneaking in. I didn't see or hear him until he was about 15 yds away and then rushed out of big, high willows with a big WUUNGH! By the time I got my wits about me he had started to turn away.
He has a 42.5 or 43 inch greatest spread. I had an approximately 20 yd. shot, quartering away, and he only went about 75-80 yds before falling. Luck was with me in that as he ran he crossed a logging road and fell less than 20 yds from the road, so there was a really short pack-out!"

Rik Hinton, California Coyote
Rik used a Compressed Lodgepole Shaft fletched with goose feathers, tipped with a 160-grain Ribtek broadhead, and a 75# Howard Hill bow.

"The coyote was using the classic encircle and attack technique with the aid of two other coyotes, but failed to note the incoming shaft, and thus failed to go home with his buddies."

Chris Holmes, Nebraska Turkey

"Well, the equipment I used is a 50# replica of a 1959 Bear Grizzly, made by a local farmer friend of mine. Broadhead was a Zwickey delta two blade mounted on one of your Sitka Spruce shafts. Hunted on the ground using a few evergreen branches to thicken the natural cover in key areas. Called him in with a box call, he walked past me looking for a hen and then walked across in front of me. I drew as he walked behind a tree to hide my movement. Tried to hit the upper legs but failed to break them, the arrow stayed in the bird which hampered his escape enough for me get him. Later inspection showed the hit to be quite effective but not a drop in the tracks hit."

Mark Lafita, Hawaii Parrot Fish & Octopus
Mark was shooting a Hoyt Gamemaster recurve.

Len Wurman, Black Bear
Len shot a tapered Sitka Spruce arrow tipped with a STOS head from a 56# Aspen Longbow to make a 9 yard shot on his bear.

Ryan Rothhaar, 1600 lb. Australian Water Buffalo and 1 of 4 Australian Wild Boars
Ryan used a 75# @ 29" Black Widow MA-II and customized 1000 grain 2020's with 1718's inside. Arrows were tipped with a 160 grain STOS broadhead.

"I just returned from 3 weeks Down Under yesterday, and I have to say the hunt was more than I ever expected, fantastic people, weather, hunting grounds, and amounts of game. Once in a lifetime hunt and its still hard for me to comprehend that there is still this kind of hunting in this day and age.
I killed a nice buffalo on the 9th day of the hunt. Saw lots of game, generally 40-50 buffalo a day and got 1-2 good stalks in most days. It just took a while for everything to come together. Rick McGowan and I stalked into the middle of a herd and ended up getting caught pretty much in the open by the buffalo I wanted, after a stare down at 15 yards that seemed to take forever but was probably 10 minutes it turned and gave me a shot. I made a good hit and got penetration to the fletching. The buffalo went about 150 yards and was down quickly. The buffalo are really tough to get in close to considering there are no natural predators. Their vision, hearing, and sense of smell is great, and the only real weakness I saw is their natural curiosity/aggressiveness that leads them to stick around too long sometimes when they see something strange (like a shaking bowhunter trying to hide behind a bush!). We didn't have any really dangerous situations, but things got pretty spooky a couple of times. These animals deserve alot of respect.
We got onto some great pig hunting too (Rick seems to be an old hand at "hoggin' ") and I managed to take 4 dandy boars between 150-220 lbs with 7-9 inch tusks. The pig hunting is great as they are pretty "unsophisticated" and you can stalk them on the ground really nicely. I killed one of the biggest pigs off of my buffalo carcass 4-5 days after I killed it. They really hone in on carcasses and had the buffalo around 30% eaten within 6 days (the buff was probably 1600 lbs live weight). The country and weather are fantastic, lots of game, all in all the best hunting grounds I could imagine.
I would consider my equipment pretty minimal for buffalo, I got good penetration but the hit was forward far enough to be in the smaller ribs. I was shooting 75lb@29 Black Widow MAII and duplex aluminum arrows that weighed 980-1000 grains (at 163 FPS through a chrony) with modified STOS heads. The STOS performed great on both the buffalo and the pigs with recovery distances of 6 FEET, 12 FEET, 25 yards and 75 yards on my 4 big boars. The boars were shot from 10 yards, 8 yards, 8 yards, and 15 yards respectively."

Nathan Steen, Idaho Black Bear
Nathan is the bowyer of Sunset Hill longbows. A 66# Sunset Hill longbow and a chundoo shaft with 190 grain Ribtek were used and the bear traveled less than 30 yards.
