Foxfire is a family owned and operated business that sprang from our love of traditional archery and hunting and is not an entity of some big company. We approach all things from that perspective first and foremost! I have three sons who are Ben, Jon, and Stephen, and we all enjoy traditional archery.

I can't really remember a time in my life of 47 years when I didn't have a bow of some sort. From the little hickory bows and willow shoot arrows my great-grandfather made for me when I was a child, to even a bit of wheel bow shooting, I have enjoyed hunting and shooting the bow and arrow and have been making my own arrows for over 20 years.

I enjoy hunting whitetail deer and took my first in 1973. For the past several years I have pretty much given up the smoke poles to hunt with nothing but the stick and string.

Kelly will still be around to keep us straight and to answer questions for you if you like.
